The AC Crusaders are proud to bring professional soccer back to South Jersey. The team called AC home during their 2011 and 2012 seasons in the NPSL before taking a yearlong hiatus in 2013.
The Crusaders have since left the NPSL and grown to a full-time professional team ready to compete in the American Soccer League (ASL).
The ASL appeals to team ownership because it is a player-centric league. It was created to provide opportunities to young American players. These players are often overlooked in favor of foreigners perceived to posses much higher pedigrees than their American counterparts.
The league also features youth and women’s modules set to unfurl next summer.
